What vaccinations does my dog need?
All dogs must have proof of current vaccinations: Rabies, Bordatella, and Distemper-Parvo (DHLLP / DAPP2). Please note: As of Oct. 1st, 2018 we will start requiring the canine flu vaccine, which must cover the H3N8 AND the H3N2 strains. There is a one-shot combo. Please don’t hesitate to call us with any questions. We also accept vaccination titer tests to prove the dog’s immunity. If your dog cannot receive a vaccination for health reasons, you must have a waiver letter from your vet.
Do you accept puppies at your facility?
Yes, we do accept puppies! However, we do ask that they are at least 4 months of age, and have had their second round of shots, including their Rabies vaccination.
Are reservations needed to stay at Bowhaus?
We request that you make a reservation for both boarding and daycare stays. Generally, we are able to accommodate last minute reservations, however, during the holidays we book up fast, so to ensure your pooch’s spot, please book in advance. If there are specific days you are in need of our daycare services, we can place a standing reservation.
Will someone stay with my dog overnight?
Due to past experiences, we have found that our four-legged guests are too tuckered out after a full day of playing to take advantage of any night playtime or potty breaks. Therefore, we do not have anyone staying overnight with your dog. However, we promise they’ll get a good night’s sleep, and are constantly monitored on our state-of-the-art security system!
